About Your Therapist

Shannon comes from three generations of dentists and is a 1994 graduate of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center School Of Dentistry with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene.  She is a  member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and holds licenses in both Colorado and Arizona.

Her interest in orofacial myofunctional treatment began while working with Dr. Jackie Schafer at Colorado Healthy Sleep in Lafayette, Colorado.  Shannon began applying what she learned in course studies with her hygiene patients and they, in turn, immediately provided positive feedback about the therapies they were receiving. This planted the seed that has now blossomed into her business practice today.

An advocate of life-long learning, she’s interested in all things that promote health and well-being. She continues to grow in her skills through continuing education and volunteering at events such as the 9 News Health Fair.

Shannon’s passion is, and always has been, people. She loves getting to know each patient as an individual. Taking this extra time to truly get to know each and every patient often leads to understanding how their problems began…which allows for the design of effective treatment options.

“I want to give each and every one of them the specialized, customized, and individualized treatment that they deserve.”
